![]() It was, however, not the Grandad of modern fantasy, so I wanted to see first what is there all about and started Tolkien's Legendarium with Silmarillion. It was unlike any story I saw before, so it was perfect to me, and characters were unbelievably interesting. The book kept me intrigued and wanting to learn more and see what happens next. From prologue, I was hooked, terrified and interested. I must have been crazy because I read the entire book in seven days. The cover doesn't look like anything special today, but back then it was really beautiful to me and it got my interest. That was until I came upon A Game of Thrones in a shop one day. I was a fan of movies and comics, but no books. I was a nerd kid who still hadn't read any books outside of school lectures. When A Dance with Dragons came out I was approaching teen years. This will be a bit personal, so thank you for coming in.
